This excellent video documents the formation flight of a SWISS Airbus 330 with the Patruoille Suisse demonstration team flying their distinctive F-5E Tiger II. I would have to agree. Such a classic shape. I was really disappointed when the Tigershark never took off, so to speak. The T-38 looks great in Thunderbirds livery, too. They flew them from 1973-1982, but a devastating crash , which killed four members of the team, led to a 6-month suspension of activities. When they reactivated, they transitioned to the F-16.

I was just inspired to post a few pictures of the F-5 and its offspring. The T-38 in Thunderbirds livery made the cut. As did the F-18 in Blue Angels livery.
